Pallet Racking

Home Warehouse racking Pallet Racking

Pallet racking is a storage system made of steel frames and beams that stores up to 4 tonnes of pallets per beam level, directly accessible by forklift. Compliant with EN 15512 and EN 15635, it is sized according to your pallets, building height and handling equipment. Kollirama performs the load study, supplies and installs throughout France.

How to size pallet racking?

Sizing pallet racking relies on six parameters our design office always checks:

Single run, back-to-back or drive-in pallet racking: which one?

Frequently asked questions

What is pallet racking?

Pallet racking, also called a pallet rack, is a steel structure made of frames and beams that stores pallets on several levels, accessible by forklift truck. It is the benchmark solution for bulk storage in a warehouse.

What load can pallet racking carry?

Depending on the profiles, each beam level typically carries 1,000 to 4,000 kg. Kollirama performs a load study and supplies the regulatory load notices for every installation.

What are standard pallet racking dimensions?

Frames usually range from 2.5 to 10 m high and beams from 1.8 to 3.6 m, holding 2 to 3 Euro pallets (800 × 1200 mm) per bay. The design office adapts dimensions to your pallets and building.

Is pallet racking installation included?

Yes, Kollirama handles delivery and assembly by its own teams throughout France, with a compliance report on handover. Periodic inspections and racking audits are also available.

How much does pallet racking cost?

As a guide, expect €80 to €150 excl. VAT per pallet position for new racking supplied, excluding installation, depending on loads and heights. Kollirama quotes your project for free after a load study.

Indoor or outdoor pallet racking: what differs?

Standard indoor racking has a painted finish; outdoors, hot-dip galvanization and reinforced anchoring against wind are essential. Kollirama supplies both versions.

Do you offer tire storage solutions?

Yes. Kollirama offers mobile tire storage carts on casters, easy to move around, and tire racks fixed to the floor or wall for permanent storage — from passenger car tires to truck tires. Our experts guide you based on your volumes and space.
