Racking accessories protect racks from forklift impacts, secure loads at height and make the installation compliant with EN 15635: upright guards and protectors, pallet stops, decking, anti-fall mesh, retention trays and load notices. Kollirama supplies accessories compatible with most rack brands.

| Upright protector | Protects the frame foot from fork and wheel impacts; floor-fixed independently from the rack (4 anchors for heavy-duty racks, 2 for medium duty, indoor or outdoor versions). |
|---|---|
| Side barrier / guide rail | Low steel or timber barrier at aisle ends and along racks: lengths 1,100 or 2,400 mm, heights 225 to 450 mm, fixed with 4 steel anchors. |
| Upright guard | Rigid plastic shell clipped onto rack uprights, for upright widths from 60 to 120 mm. |
| Pallet stop | Rear stop preventing the pallet from being pushed past the beam; lengths 1,850, 2,700 or 3,060 mm. |
| Anti-fall mesh / netting | Rear mesh panel or net retaining parcels and pallets in case of tipping, mandatory above walkways. |
| Protection posts, rails and barriers | Posts (heights 500, 800 or 1,100 mm), rails, arc-shaped high-visibility barriers and dock protections for vehicle traffic areas. |
| Timber or steel decking | Floor laid on the beams to store non-palletised loads: see our Rack decking sheet for loads by dimension. |
| Retention tray | Collects leaks from liquids and chemicals stored in racks, compliant with environmental obligations. |
| Load notice | EN 15635 regulatory signage indicating maximum permissible loads per level and per bay. |
How to make your warehouse safe?
EN 15635 requires a complete prevention approach around racking:
- Protect every frame foot exposed to traffic aisles with guards or rails
- Fit pallet stops and anti-fall mesh above picking and walkway areas
- Display load notices on every bay and train forklift drivers to respect them
- Inspect racks visually every week and have an expert audit carried out yearly (PRSES)
- Replace any deformed element immediately: a damaged beam or frame loses its rated capacity
