A pharmacy gondola is low shelving (1.20 to 1.60 m for central islands) with refined finishes (wood cladding, lacquered ends, integrated signage), designed to display parapharmacy and dermo-cosmetics while keeping clear sightlines across the dispensary. Kollirama handles layout study, manufacturing and installation.
Product description
Specially developed for the pharmacy environment, our pharmacy gondolas combine sturdiness, modularity, and contemporary design. They allow for a clear and structured presentation of your pharmaceutical products while optimizing every square meter of your retail space. We integrate your signage to enhance the readability of your product categories, and we offer custom wood paneling to bring warmth, elegance, and consistency to your pharmacy's visual identity.
Pharmacy gondola vs standard gondola: the differences
A pharmacy gondola differs from a standard retail gondola by its reduced height (typically 1.20 to 1.60 m), keeping a clear view over the whole dispensary and advice areas, by its refined finishes (wood cladding, lacquered ends, signage headers) and by shelves suited to small packs (parapharmacy, dermo-cosmetics, hygiene). It is not designed for heavy loads like a food or DIY gondola: the priority is product legibility and harmony with the pharmacy furniture.
Rural or urban pharmacy: an adapted layout
In rural pharmacies with generous floor areas, low double-sided gondolas structure wide parapharmacy universes and ease self-service. In urban pharmacies where every square metre counts, taller wall units combined with very low central gondolas maximise shelving without crowding the space. The Kollirama design office models your layout in 2D/3D before manufacturing.
