Picking shelving is metal shelving dedicated to manual order preparation: items are picked by unit or parcel at operator height, without handling equipment. Each level carries up to 330 kg in the light-duty range and 400 to 680 kg in medium duty, with tool-free adjustable shelves. It complements pallet racking for fast-moving SKUs.

Which picking shelving for your daily order volume?
The right sizing depends first on the number of order lines prepared each day:
- Under 100 orders/day: light-duty single-level picking, preparation by trolley
- 100 to 500 orders/day: medium-duty multi-tier picking with walkways and stairs to densify the area
- Over 500 orders/day: mechanised picking with conveyors, carton flow or shuttles (flow study recommended)
- Heavy or bulky SKUs: combine ground-level picking with pallet racking reserve above
