Retention trays

Home Warehouse racking Retention trays

A retention tray catches accidental leaks and spills from polluting or hazardous products stored in the warehouse: thinners, acids, bases, hydrocarbons, resins, oils. It protects your facilities, your teams and the environment, and becomes mandatory as soon as you store hazardous liquids. All our trays comply with European standards; the right solution depends on the product stored.

Frequently asked questions

When is a retention tray mandatory?

As soon as you store polluting or hazardous liquids (thinners, acids, hydrocarbons, oils…), regulations require retention capacity. The usual rule: retain 100% of the largest container's volume or 50% of the total stored volume, whichever is higher.

Steel or polyethylene: which material should I choose?

Galvanized or painted steel suits hydrocarbons, oils and flammable products. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) resists acids, bases and corrosive products. We guide you based on your products' safety data sheets.

Are there retention solutions built into racking?

Yes: retention trays that slide under racks, and retention decking that fits directly into pallet racking levels, to secure hazardous product storage on racking.
